How can you lose?

If I was forced to pick a headline, I think I like the first one better:

• “WagerMate picks the Derby Winner”
• “WagerMate’s picks for the card lose money”

…but, both are true.

A couple of the bets paid off in a small way, but getting two-thirds of the Derby Trifecta didn’t generate any income.
